Chasing pack seek favours

Barcelona and Inter Milan, who both dropped two points in the opening matches of their Primera Liga and Serie A title defences, will also be out to close in on their chief challengers for honours. With Nancy, Monaco and Valenciennes tied on points atop of the French Ligue 1, it will be interesting to see who emerges from matchday seven at the front of the race for gold.
